Accessibility

This site is meant to be a quiet, easy place to read, for everyone, regardless of how you browse the web. Here’s what that means in practice today:

• Semantic HTML throughout, so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate it sensibly.
• A “Skip to content” link for keyboard users, so you don’t have to tab through the header on every page.
• Text and background colors checked against WCAG AA contrast minimums, in both light and dark mode.
• Every photo on the site has a written description (alt text) for anyone using a screen reader.
• Motion is restrained and respects your system’s “reduce motion” setting.
• Dark mode follows your system preference automatically, with a manual toggle in the footer.
• Font size and line spacing are set generously, on purpose, for comfortable reading.

I’m one person maintaining this site in my spare time, not a company with a dedicated accessibility team, so I can’t promise perfection.
